Virtualization

enableVirtualization shows every row in a scroll area of height (pixels or a CSS length, default 480) and renders only the rows near the viewport, so very long tables stay fast. The header stays above the scroll area.

  • Rows are measured as they appear, so rows can have different heights. estimatedRowHeight is used until they are measured.
  • The table does not page when virtualized; the bottom toolbar shows the row count.
  • Rows are keyed by their id, so give the table a stable getRowId when the data is replaced.
